The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organises a training course on Medical Science and Medicine for 58 students of Guilin Medical University during Feb 14th to 18th.
The five-day training course is rich in content, and the whole course is taught in English by UM professors. The topics include clinical research and prevention of Parkinson’s disease and aging, comparison and difference of clinical medicine between Chinese and Western medicine, stem cell transplantation, immune regulation mechanism and tumor immunotherapy. We received positive feedback from students.
Guilin Medical University is a general institution of higher learning directly under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is one of the first batch of pilot universities for the “Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program” project of the Ministry of Education and an excellent university for the evaluation of undergraduate teaching work by the Ministry of Education. It is known as “the medical pearl that shines in BAGUI”.
CCE continues to carry out high-quality training courses to strengthen educational cooperation between UM and universities in mainland.
