The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) held a training course on Psychology and Big Health for students of The School of Psychology and Cognitive Science of East China Normal University from June 27 to July 1. Total 12 students attended the course, most of them are postgraduate students.
The five-day training program was rich and intensive, comprising game therapy workshops, a series of special lectures, and visits. Classes included “Game Therapy Workshop”, “Ethical Issues in Psychology”, “Advances and Trends in Clinical Psychology”, and “Social and Cultural Psychology”. The visiting activities included the Psychological Counselling Centre at UM, the Educational Psychological Counseling and Special Education Center, the Psychological Therapy Center of the Macau Women’s General Association, and Kiang Wu Hospital. Through thematic sharing, field visits, and interactive exchanges, participants gained an understanding of the psychological counseling framework, system, and activities in Macao, and experienced Macao’s unique cultural atmosphere and educational concepts firsthand.
