The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organized a training course on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data for students from several mainland higher education institutions during July 14 to 18. Total 94 students joined the training course, separated into 2 classes. They are from Changzhou Institute of Technology, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Huanghuai University and Xiangtan Institute of Technology.

The five-day training course is rich in content and taught in English by UM professors and senior instructors. The topics include “Fundamental of Artificial Intelligence: Computer Science & Database Systems”, “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence: Revolutionary Development”, “Financial Technology (FinTech): Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence”, and “AI in Education”. They also visited UM’s State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC). The training course broadened their horizons and provided a wealth of valuable experiences.

CCE continues to offer training course and promote collaboration between UM and higher education institutions in mainland.
