The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) successfully completed three online summer training courses for 83 Guangzhou University students from August 9th to 13th. The themes are: “Law and Administration”, “Information Technology and Innovation”, “Artificial Intelligence and Big Data”, the rich course content has won good feedback from students.

In response to the epidemic, this training has been adjusted to organize training activities for mainland students online by ZOOM, allowing them to interact with UM professors through the Internet. The thematic courses were lectured by UM professors and industry elites. The students also reported online by group presentations. Many students said they have benefited a lot.

During the epidemic, CCE continued to promote training programs online in accordance with government guidelines, and carried out online diversified training courses with a flexible education model to promote exchanges and cooperation between mainland universities and UM.
