CCE hosted a training program for 37 students from Beijing Foreign Studies University on July 2, themed “Designated Training Course on the System and Practice of Cultivating Foreign Talents at the University of Macau”.
Despite its one-day duration, the course featured insightful sharing by Prof. Cai Tianji from FSS, who elaborated on UM’s distinctive models and practical experiences in nurturing foreign-related talents. The session not only built a dynamic exchange platform for participants but also bolstered educational collaboration between the two institutions while enhancing students’ capabilities in handling foreign-related affairs.
As a key national university under the Ministry of Education, BFSU is part of China’s “Project 211”, “985 Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform” and “Double First-Class” initiatives. This training aligns with CCE’s ongoing efforts to roll out more student development programs, fostering deeper academic exchanges and cooperation between mainland universities and UM.
