The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organised a 3-month Designated Training on Comprehensive Energy and Civil Engineering for students from University of South China, the training course is combined with offline and online training. The offline training is conducted from 7th to 11th July.

During the five-day offline training, the students attended various professional lectures, topics include Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things and Energy Systems, Advanced Materials in Science and Engineering, Water treatment history, principles and emerging technologies, and Green Energy for Global Society. The students also visited different units of UM, including the UM Wu Yee Sun Library and UM Gallery. Outside UM, the students visited the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Macau. Many of the students say they are impressed with the international teaching quality at UM and are willing to come back to UM for further studies.

CCE continues to develop training programmes with quality mainland universities to promote collaboration between UM and higher education institutions in Mainland China.
