From July 19 to 23, The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organised a training course on Talent Development of Teacher Education for students from Capital Normal University. The first batch of 24 undergraduate students are selected from teacher education majors.
The five-day training program was rich and compact, featuring lectures by senior professors from Faculty of Education (FED) and Faculty of Science (FST) and Technology. During the on-campus visits, participants visited FED, Centre for Science and Engineering Promotion, UM Library, and Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC). During off-campus visits, they were warmly received at Pui Va Middle School and patriotic education base for youth. At the closing ceremony, the student representative shared their learning experiences, expressing that the training was highly beneficial. The program enriched their personal experiences and broadened their perspectives, and they hoped to have the opportunity to return to the University of Macau for future studies.
Capital Normal University is a “Double First-Class” university in China and a “Jointly Established University” by the Beijing Municipal Government and the Ministry of Education. CCE continues to develop more training programs, promoting exchange and cooperation between UM and mainland universities.
