The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organises an online winter training course “Distance Learning (UMLive) Course – Training on Communication and Information Engineering” for 60 students of School of Communications and Information Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications during Jan 9th to 13th. We received positive feedback from students.

The five-day online training course consisted of a series of lectures, taught in English by UM trainers. The course contents are covering the introduction to: Big Data and AI, Computer Science & Database Systems, Microelectronics for Telecommunication and Signal Processing, 5G and Communication Technology, Convergence of Edge Computing and Edge-Cloud Collaboration in future B5G networks, Applied Electronics and Automation, Fintech & Blockchain, Data Science Programming. In the final group presentation, many students said that they had gained a lot of new knowledge and could apply them to their studies.
