The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organised an interdisciplinary training course in business technology for 40 students of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University from 5 July to 9 July. The course covered various topics, including ‘Macao’s economy, the development of the Greater Bay Area, and related opportunities and principles’, ‘opportunities and possibilities for art and design created by diversity and integration’, and ‘the commercial application of technological innovation in marketing’.
In addition to attending lectures, students in the training course visited different units of UM, including the Centre for Science and Engineering Promotion and the Centre for Arts and Design. Accompanied by UM PR Student Ambassadors, the students also visited the UM Wu Yee Sun Library, the UM Gallery, and the Central Teaching Building to learn more about student life at UM. Many students say that they have gained a great deal from the activity and hope to be able to study at UM again in the future.
The organiser has implemented strict epidemic prevention measures throughout the teaching activities to ensure the health and safety of all students, faculty members, and staff.
