The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organized a Designated Training Course on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management for 20 students from Foshan University from November 22nd to 24th, 2025.
The three-day training course featured rich content and was led by UM professors. The topics covered “Economic Growth and Technological Development”, “Strategic Development of Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Opportunities in Macao”, and “National One Belt and One Road Plan and Macao Development”, which allowed students to experience the high-quality and internationalized teaching at UM. During the lectures, students actively interacted with UM professors and gained deeper understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship management. Also, students visited UM Gallery, Library and Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which broadened their horizons and perspectives. At the closing ceremony, student representative shared the learning experiences and praised the training course as beneficial and enriching.
Foshan University is a full-time public undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a high-level university in Guangdong Province (a key discipline construction university) with doctoral degree programmes.
CCE will continue to develop more training courses for university students to promote exchange and cooperation between universities in Chinese mainland and UM.
