The Centre for Continuing Education has been appointed as an authorised TOEIC test centre in Macao, offering TOEIC® Listening and Reading Test.

About the TOEIC test:
ETS, an industry leader in English-language assessment for over 60 years, designed the TOEIC® tests to measure workplace English skills. For more than 30 years, over 14,000 organizations (businesses, government agencies, universities and vocational schools) in 150 countries rely on the TOEIC® tests to demonstrate English proficiency and help them get ahead of the competition. More than 7 million TOEIC® tests were administrated in 2012.

Application methods:
1. Apply in person at our office
2. Apply online or by postal mail via www.toeic.com.hk (“Continuing Education Development Subsidy” not applicable)
※An admission ticket will be emailed to you by your local TOEIC representative to confirm your testing date and location.

Test Fee:
MOP 750.00

Payment methods accepted by CCE:
1. By VISA/MASTER card
2. By cheque/cashier’s order, payable to “University of Macau”
3. By DSEJ Continuing Education Scheme (if applicable). Applicants must apply in person and present a valid Macau ID card.

Test format:

Format Paper-and-pencil. 200 multiple-choice questions.
Duration The TOEIC® Listening and Reading test takes approximately two and a half hours with

* 45 minutes for Listening
* 75 minutes for Reading
* Approximately 30 minutes to answer biographical questions

Content Listening: Test takers listen to a variety of questions and short conversations recorded in English, then answer questions based on what they have heard (100 items total).

* Part 1: Photographs
* Part 2: Question-Response
* Part 3: Conversations
* Part 4: Short Talks

Reading: Test takers read a variety of materials and respond at their own pace (100 items total).

* Part 5: Incomplete Sentences
* Part 6: Error Recognition or Text Completion
* Part 7: Reading Comprehension
