The course titled ‘Certificate in Future Leadership Skills in a Smart Era’, co-organised by MGM and the University of Macau’s (UM) Centre for Continuing Education and Faculty of Business Administration, was completed successfully. 25 participants received the certificate of completion. Both parties look forward to more collaborations in the future to provide professional training that meets the needs of society.

At the closing ceremony, Prof Jean Chen, dean of the FBA, and Mr Francis Tan, vice president of Learning and Talent Management of MGM, presented certificates to the students. CCE Director Prof Matthew Liu Ting-Chi also attended the ceremony. Two of the MGM participants, Mr Sam Fong and Mr Kin Chio, shared their thoughts about the course. They both felt that the topics covered in the course were well-selected and very useful. They expressed their gratitude towards MGM and UM for their support and professional teaching.

Prof Chen said the course enhanced participants’ understanding of leadership skills and taught them how to apply these skills in their daily work.

Mr Tan said that it was the first joint course organised by UM and MGM. In addition to leadership skills, the course also covered forward-looking topics that represent the latest industry trends, such as artificial intelligence and big data, to prepare participants for managerial positions.
