The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) held an Interdisciplinary training course for 37 students of Zhejiang University of Technology and Huzhou University from July 18 to 19. The topic is: “Training course on Leadership and Cross-cultural Communication”.
The two-day training course included seminars and site visiting, they are “Leadership and Strategic Management” and “Critical Thinking and Decision Making for Leaders”, which are taught by senior professors from UM. Moreover, the students visited UM Wu Yee Sun Library and UM Gallery. We got positive feedback from the students, some said that the trip had benefited a lot and left a deep and beautiful impression on UM.
Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) was established in 1953 and is a comprehensive research-intensive university co-supported by Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Ministry of Education of China. It is within top 100 rankings among 2,900+ universities nationwide.
Huzhou University is located in North Zhejiang Province’s Huzhou City, where President Xi Jinping’s philosophy that “lush mountains and lucid waters are invaluable assets” was originated. The university has been entitled as National Award for Aiding the Disabled, National Language Promotion Base, China’s Fine Traditional Culture (Silkworm) Heritage Base approved by Ministry of Education, Model University of Application Construction of Zhejiang Province, National Innovation Alliance of Yangtze River Delta Forestry for Common Prosperity, etc. It is among the first batch of pilot universities to implement the national education training programs called “Excellent Doctors” and “Excellent Talents of Agriculture and Forestry”.
