The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) and the Social Welfare Bureau co-organised a 36-hour training course for early childhood trainer assistants at nurseries between July and August. The course attracted about 40 participants. Through systematic training, the students have increased their knowledge about child care and methods for organising activities for children, which will enhance their skills and sense of responsibility for working at nurseries.

In line with the anti-epidemic measures implemented by the Macao SAR government, all participants in the course were required to present health codes and take body temperature before entering the classroom. They were also required to wear masks and keep a safe distance from each other during lecture time.
