The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) organised three interdisciplinary training courses for undergraduate students from July 26 to July 31. The topics are “Humanities and Social Sciences” (2 classes) and “Economics and Management” (1 class). A total of 112 students from many universities and colleges in the Mainland participated in the courses.
The training course is rich in content. The “Humanities and Social Sciences” covers topics on Communication and Advertising, Linguistics Development, Tourism Culture, and Human Resource Management; the “Economics and Management” covers topics on Economics Innovation, Marketing and Brand Strategy, Network Advertising, Organizational Behavior & Motivation. The organiser has implemented strict epidemic prevention measures throughout the teaching activities to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff.
Students came from many universities, they are: Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai; Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture; Chengdu University of Information Technology; Fujian Normal University; Fuzhou University; Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology; Guilin University Of Electronic Technology; Hainan University; Hunan University; Jiangnan University; Jiangsu Normal University; Jiangsu University; Jilin Agricultural University; Lanzhou University; Nanchang University; Nanjing University Of Aeronautics And Astronautics; Sanming University; Shanghai International Studies University; Shanghai Sanda University; Shaoxing University; Sichuan Normal University; Soochow University; Southwest University; Tongren University; University of Leicester; Wuhan Institute of Technology; Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology Huaqing College; Yunnan University; Zhejiang A&F University; Zhejiang Business Technology Institute. Many students say that they have gained a great deal from the activity and hope to be able to study at UM again in the future.
To cope with the development of national talent training, CCE is promoting similar training cooperation, and strengthening the communication between the youth of the Mainland and Macao.
