UM CCE Director and representatives visited Shunde Polytechnic on October 29, and held a discussion on future cooperation with the senior officials of the college.
During the meeting, Deputy Director Qiu introduced the history and development of Shunde. Vice President Luo introduced the current situation and future plan of the college. Several schools of the college introduced the status and expressed cooperation expectations. CCE Director introduced UM also. Everyone exchanged opinions on topics such as establishing training center, scientific research cooperation, student visiting training, and international development.
After the meeting, the delegation visited several schools of the college, including School of Foreign Languages, School of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and School of Electronics & Information Engineering.
Established in the March of 1999 and located in Foshan, Shunde Polytechnic is a higher vocational educational institution approved by the Ministry of Education and is primarily funded by the Shunde municipal government.
CCE has benefited a lot from this visit. Shunde Polytechnic is fully committed to the development of modern higher vocational education. The college is continuing enhancing its partnership with both government agencies and business corporations to achieve the most optimized effective integration of industrial expertise, education and research. Thus, the future cooperation between two schools can deepen the understanding of different cultures and it has great significance for educational cooperation and exchanges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
