“Certificate in Gemmology” was designed based on the UK’s Gemmology foundation courses; the purpose of the course is to prepare local firms, practitioners and interested individuals for relative public examinations. The course is relatively popular among professionals since its introduction, while, a total of 8 phases had successfully launched in the recent years, including two intakes in June and December 2019. Our Centre will be introducing relevant courses in the future, providing quality training and opportunities to the industry. Moreover, “Certificate in Diamond Grading and Entrepreneurship” includes studies of international 4Cs standards (cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight) of diamond, the Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) certification, and the overall operation of the diamond industry; in such, students can be equipped to confront the future business development.
