From June 17th to 22nd, the University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) offered the “Training course on Cyberspace Security and Computer Science” for students from Guangzhou University. Total 88 students separated into 2 classes.
The one-week training consisted of a series of special lectures. The students first arrived in Hong Kong, where they attended two workshops on “Cyber Security and Implementation” & “Computer Science” at downtown Centre of the University of Hong Kong’s School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE). Then they joined two workshops on “Urban Spatiotemporal Data Analysis Technology” & “Network Multimedia Forensics and Security” in UM. At the closing ceremony, the student representative expressed that through the training, they gained a deeper understanding of HK and Macao. The classes were interesting, the instructors were dedicated, and the content was practical, which greatly benefited their professional studies. They hope to have the opportunity to engage in further exchanges in the future.
This training is collaborated with HKU SPACE, through the cross-city academic exchange between HK and Macau, it helps to develop continuing education cooperation model in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
